General Cherry, one of Ukraine’s largest FPV drone manufacturers, has joined the government-backed Private Air Defence initiative, obtained the required licence and is launching a new range of products and services in this field.
The company will provide a full-cycle solution designed to protect privately owned facilities and critical infrastructure. General Cherry has its own trained pilots, mobile response teams and counter-UAS systems for detecting and intercepting hostile drones.
General Cherry’s private air defence system is built around the company’s proprietary platforms:
— General Cherry AIR front-line interceptor
— General Cherry SPEED high-speed front-line interceptor
— General Cherry BULLET counter-Shahed platform
The company is actively integrating remote launch and control capabilities, as well as terminal guidance systems, into its interceptor platforms.
It is important to emphasise that private air defence units do not operate independently. They form part of Ukraine’s wider integrated air defence architecture and operate under the command and coordination of the Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Force.
General Cherry also provides training services for companies planning to establish their own protection units. A comprehensive training programme for pilots from partner organisations will be delivered through the General Cherry Academy. Several major Ukrainian enterprises are already working with General Cherry in this area.
In addition, the company is ready to provide a continuous supply of its products to other private air defence operators and equip them with the latest and most effective technological solutions.
General Cherry is prepared to train personnel, provide operational support and deliver the complete range of equipment required to protect Ukrainian airspace and critical assets from hostile aerial threats.
